Different reporting APIs retrieve data from different products. Use this mapping to understand which API to use for retrieving transaction and financial data:
What happened to the money — transaction details, settlement data, captures, refunds, and fees.
What was sold — order lines, VAT breakdowns, amounts, and categories. Use with the Report API.
Donation records from the Donations product — donor data, amounts, and payment history.
For VM Number products (Open Amount and Shopping Basket), the Report API and Sales API can be accessed by a designated accounting partner.
