PSP Merchant API

The PSP Merchant API lets Payment Service Providers (PSPs) onboard and manage merchants who accept Vipps MobilePay payments.

Who this is for

Use this API if you are a PSP integrating with any of the following:

• ePayment PSP API
• Recurring PSP API
• Vipps PSP API

MobilePay Online PSPs: Do not use this API. The MobilePay Online API has its own onboarding process.

How it works

Setting up as a PSP involves two stages:

1. Sign up as a PSP partner with Vipps MobilePay. This is done offline and gives you your PSP credentials, including your PSP-ID.
2. Use this API to onboard each merchant you want to process payments for. Each merchant gets a unique Merchant Serial Number (MSN).

1. Sign up as a PSP partner to receive a PSP-ID and credentials.
2. Use the PSP-ID and credentials to onboard a merchant, which provides a Merchant Serial Number (MSN).
3. Use the MSN to process payments on behalf of the merchant.
