Recurring PSP API

The Recurring PSP API is in development and targeted for Q2/Q3 2026.

The recurring api will soon open up access to PSP and have full card passthrough functionality,. PSPs utilizing the api will get access to all the features of the api, and will be able to do card aquiring themselves after receiving card details in a callback.

Currency support​

There are no platform-level currency restrictions for card passthrough — PSPs can process recurring payments in any currency supported by the Recurring API.

The currencies available to your PSP are determined by your commercial agreement with Vipps MobilePay. New PSPs signing an agreement for Recurring card passthrough will have access to all currencies and cross-border payments. Contact your PSP Partner Manager if you have questions about your agreement.

Getting access​

To get access to card passthrough for PSPs, contact your PSP Partner Manager. They will guide you through the commercial and technical onboarding process and provide your PSP ID.
