Payment selection

Use our logos and marks to show the Vipps and MobilePay payment options available to the user. Choose the option that best matches the way other payment options are displayed.

  • Only use the official marks and logos provided by Vipps MobilePay
  • Do not modify the official versions in any way. Don't change the color or weight of the paymark's outline or alter the paymark in any way. Use only the paymark provided by Vipps MobilePay.
  • Adjust the height to match the other brand identities displayed in your payment flow. Don't make the logo or paymark smaller than other brand identities.
  • Ensure the text "Vipps" or "MobilePay" appears next to the logo or paymark, if you do this for other payment methods.
  • When referring to both brands, please place the local brand name first. Please do not co-brand the two brands. Each of the two options should be a separate selection. See Using both brands.

In the checkout

Presenting Vipps or MobilePay in your checkout is easy. When choosing between logos and paymarks, be consistent with how you display other options on your page.

tip

If you're using paymarks in your payment flow, use the Vipps and MobilePay paymarks. If logos are used throughout the flow, use the Vipps and MobilePay logos.

Paymarks and logos

Place the local brand name first. For more details, see Using both brands.

1. Paymarks
Our recommendation – neat, clear and recognizable.

There are three sizes for our paymark: small, medium, and large. The small version should be your go-to, but we know not all checkouts are the same. So, if you've got a bit more space to play with, feel free to use one of the other sizes.

Just remember – always use our official paymarks as they are, without changing any elements.

2. Logos
You can also present our logo.

If you're showing payment options with full logos in your checkout, go for the Vipps and MobilePay logos instead of the paymark.

Keep things fairβ€”make sure our logos are the same size as the others, so no one steals the spotlight.

Use only our official logos here, without changing any elements.

info

See the official brand guidelines for the most complete information.

Text case

If you use text for other payment options, use text for Vipps and MobilePay, too. Use the same font and typographic style as the rest of the text on your website. (Don't try to mimic the Vipps MobilePay typographic style.)

When referring to both Vipps and MobilePay, place the local brand name first. See Using both brands.

The spelling of our brand names:

  • Vipps (not VIPPS, unless you use all uppercase everywhere)
  • MobilePay (not Mobilepay, Mobile pay, Mobile Pay, Mobil pay, etc.)

See the official brand guidelines for the more details.

Using both brands

If you want to show that you support multiple markets, you can include both the Vipps and MobilePay buttons in the checkout process. Please do not co-brand the two brands. Each of the two options should be a separate selection.

Place the local brand name first:

  • In Denmark and Finland: MobilePay/Vipps
  • In Norway and Sweden: Vipps/MobilePay

Be aware of landing page branding, which will always match the location of the user (e.g., a Norwegian user will always get the Norwegian landing page, with Norwegian kroner and the Vipps app). If you have a problem where users are selecting the wrong option, and it is hurting your conversion rate, you can show both Vipps and MobilePay as one option.

Remember to keep the logos and marks physically separate and to be consistent with how you display the other payment options.

Best practices

Maximize your conversions with checkout flows that enable customers to quickly and easily review their payment information and confirm their purchase.

🌟 Make Vipps and MobilePay the primary payment options

People like using Vipps and MobilePay for faster checkout. Where possible, display the Vipps or MobilePay buttons prominently, and consider making it the default or only payment option.

🌟 Let your customers make purchases without an account

Account creation slows down the checkout process and can lead to abandoned carts. Use Vipps MobilePay to enable faster guest checkout. If you'd like your customers to create an account, allow them to do so after they complete their purchase.

🌟 Include Vipps or MobilePay on confirmation pages and order details

When displaying payment information on confirmation pages and email receipts, make sure you indicate the customer has paid with Vipps or MobilePay. Ensure that Vipps or MobilePay is displayed consistently with how other payment methods are displayed.
