Payment options
You can use our logos and marks to show the Vipps and MobilePay payment options. Choose the option that best matches the way other payment options are displayed.
Design guidelinesβ
Marksβ
Marks are the recommended choice because of their neat, clear, and recognizable appearance.
If it's difficult for you to create two rows, then, a reserve option is to display both brands in the same row. Like this:
Guidelines:
- Only use the official marks and logos provided by Vipps MobilePay
- Do not modify the official versions in any way. Don't change the color or weight of the mark's outline or alter the mark in any way. Use only the mark provided by Vipps MobilePay.
- Adjust the height to match the other brand identities displayed in your payment flow. Don't make the logo or mark smaller than other brand identities.
- Ensure the text "Vipps" or "MobilePay" appears next to the logo or mark, if you do this for other payment methods.
- When referring to both brands, please place the local brand name first. Please do not co-brand the two brands. Each of the two options should be a separate selection. See Using both brands.
- Use the descriptions for each language.
Examples and more guidelines are provided at brand.vippsmobilepay.com.
Descriptionsβ
Checkout descriptions are small footprints that should align with the rest of our brands' tone of voice. That way, your customers recognize us as a familiar and legitimate option.
Denmark: Hurtigt, sikkert og meget, meget nemt
Finland: Turvallista, nopeaa ja helpon helppoa
Norway: Trygt, raskt og veldig, veldig enkelt
Sweden: SΓ€kert, snabbt och vΓ€ldigt, vΓ€ldigt enkelt
English: Safe, fast and very, very easy
- Denmark
- Finland
- Norway
Textβ
The spelling of our brand names:
- Vipps (not VIPPS)
- MobilePay (not Mobilepay, Mobile pay, Mobile Pay, Mobil pay etc.)
If you use all uppercase letters in your checkout, then we'll follow to your logic:
- VIPPS
- MOBILEPAY
When referring to both brands, place the local brand name first.
If you don't display logos for other payment options, the brand name should be represented by text that is set in the same font and typographic style as the rest of the text on your website. Don't try to mimic the Vipps MobilePay typographic style.
Using both brandsβ
If you want to show that you support multiple markets, you can include both the Vipps and MobilePay buttons in the checkout process. Please do not co-brand the two brands. Each of the two options should be a separate selection.
Place the local brand name first:
- Denmark: MobilePay/Vipps
- Finland: MobilePay/Vipps
- Norway: Vipps/MobilePay
Be aware of landing page branding, which will always match the location of the user (e.g., a Norwegian user will always get the Norwegian landing page, with Norwegian kroner and the Vipps app). If you have a problem where users are selecting the wrong option, and it is hurting your conversion rate, you can show both Vipps and MobilePay as one option.
- Denmark
- Finland
- Norway
Remember to keep the logos and marks physically separate and to be consistent with how you display the other payment options.
Best practicesβ
Maximize your conversions with checkout flows that enable customers to quickly and easily review their payment information and confirm their purchase.
π Make Vipps and MobilePay the primary payment optionsβ
People like using Vipps and MobilePay for faster checkout. Where possible, display the Vipps or MobilePay buttons prominently, and consider making it the default or only payment option.
π Let your customers make purchases without an accountβ
Account creation slows down the checkout process and can lead to abandoned carts. Use Vipps MobilePay to enable faster guest checkout. If you'd like your customers to create an account, allow them to do so after they complete their purchase.
π Include Vipps or MobilePay on confirmation pages and receiptsβ
When displaying payment information on confirmation pages and email receipts, make sure you indicate the customer has paid with Vipps or MobilePay. Ensure that Vipps or MobilePay is displayed consistently with how other payment methods are displayed.
