How to check details for your merchants

As a partner, you need tools to manage your business operations, check on product orders, and access information about your merchants' sales units. This section covers the resources available to help you run your partner business efficiently.

How to get access for your own sales units on the business portal

As a partner, you can access both the Partner Portal and the Business Portal at portal.vippsmobilepay.com. While they share the same URL, they serve different purposes:

Partner Portal - Use this to manage your partner business:

  • View and manage merchants you work with
  • Check product order status for merchants where you are the partner
  • View sales units connected to your partner account
  • Access partner-specific workflows and tools

Business Portal - Use this to manage your own sales units:

  • Manage your own company's sales units and settings
  • Configure API keys for your own integrations
  • Manage users and permissions for your organization
  • Access merchant tools and transaction data for your business

After logging in, you can choose which role to act as. See Partner Portal: Changing between portals for details on switching.

Getting access to your own sales units

To manage your own sales units as a partner, you need to order a product like Login. Ordering Login is the fastest way to get access, because the Login API does not allow for payments and, therefore the requirements for compliance are the simplest. You will still get access to payments (and everything else) in the test environment.

You will need to get a merchant agreement and order the product as described on the Applying for services page.

Requirements
  • The partner must have a website.
  • The partner's organization number must be clearly visible on the website.
  • The partner must mention in the application that the application is for a partner and that it's for access to the API for development.

When your order for Login is approved, you can log in to the portal and manage your own sales units for use in the test environment.

You can ask the merchant to create a portal user for you, so you get access to the merchant's MSN.

How to check the status of a product order

You can use the partner portal to view all product orders where you are specified as partner. This includes product orders made with the Management API, product order templates and manual product orders.

You can also use the Management API:

note

How can a partner check details on behalf of the merchant?

You can use the partner portal to view the details of all sales units where you are the partner.

You can also use the Management API, or make the API functionality available in your own admin interface.

To see exactly what a merchant sees: Ask the merchant to create a portal user for you, so they can log in as the merchant.
